My Mission

I'm Juan Andrés, the person behind Drolosoft. My mission is simple: build useful, well-crafted software for developers and communities.

I believe in thoughtful design, reliability, and software that respects your time and privacy. Every tool is crafted with care, tested properly, and designed to fit into your workflow without friction.

What I Do

I specialize in developer tools, productivity software, and web development. My work spans native apps and CLI tools to custom websites for organizations and communities.

Each project follows the same principles: simplicity, performance, and user experience. I don't build software for the sake of it — I build solutions to problems I've encountered myself.

The Story

I started Drolosoft in 2015 with a simple idea: the best tools are the ones you build for yourself. Today I work from the Canary Islands, Spain.

Over the years, I've built websites for environmental initiatives like Somos Una Ola—a volunteer beach cleaning movement in La Palma—and art portfolios like Herrumbre Vivo Arte, showcasing recycled sculptures. I've also built community platforms like La Porra, and various developer tools for terminal productivity.

It's just me, and that's by choice. Every line of code, every design decision, and every feature is carefully considered to ensure it adds real value to your work.
